 Artists generally recognise that pure sable brushes are the best - but costly. So consideration of price may compel many to use a synthetic brush instead. Whilst today's synthetic brushes give excellent performance, pure sable still has the edge. This is why we developed Sceptre Gold II. A brush that's made from a mix of pure sable and synthetic fibres, giving you a performance that's close to sable at a price closer to a synthetic.

With a choice of short and long handles, Sceptre Gold II is an affordable choice. They feature seamless gold plated nickel ferrules and vibrant terracotta stained handles. Suitable for use with Water Colour, Fluid Oil, Acrylic and Griffin Alkyd Fast Drying Oil Colours.

Series 101-Watercolour Round: A traditional round head shape for all-purpose water colour work. Can be used for broad strokes yet it will also form a sharp point. They posses excellent colour holding capacity, sensitivity, spring and durability.

Series 202-Designers Brush: Made to the same high standards as Series 101, these bruhses have an elongated head shape, which  gives an extar fine point and greater colour holding capacity. Ideal for fine detail work and for use with all media.

Series 303 Lettering: These brushes are longer than Series 202 Designers' Brushes. Designed to create fine lines and scroll work, they are for use with all types of media. They have excellent colour carrying capacity and point well for long clear lines, without any loss of control.

Series 606- One Stroke: These flat brushes give firm, sharp lines for lettering and one stroke work. Popular for washes in water colour. They posses great spring and colour carrying capacity.

Series 808 Short Handle Fan: This special fan-shaped brush is designed for use where delicate blending effects are required in portraiture and other fine detail work.
